Beach Clean

During almost every visit to Andros, The Bahamas, the Saving the Blue team makes time to give back to the environment by cleaning a local beach or mangrove habitat.

Using compostable bags, we collect a variety of marine debris, with a particular focus on plastics, including bottles, discarded fishing gear, cosmetic containers, straws, cutlery, and much more.

Although it may seem like a small act, every piece of rubbish removed helps protect these precious ecosystems and the wildlife that depends on them. Seeing the immediate impact of our efforts is incredibly rewarding and reminds us that every action counts!

We look forward to continuing our clean-up efforts on every visit to Andros, helping keep its beautiful coastlines and mangroves cleaner, healthier, and safer for the incredible wildlife that calls them home.
