What To Bring
Whether you’ve already booked an expedition with us or you’re simply looking for more information about what to bring on a future trip, we’ve detailed our suggested packing list below.
You will be allowed 40lb (18kg) in TOTAL - hand and checked luggage combined.
Passport
Unless you’re a resident or citizen of The Bahamas you will need a passport (valid for at least 6 months) and any relevant VISAs.
Rain Jacket
You can never be too prepared for rain in the tropics, a rain jacket is highly encouraged!
Headlamp
We recommend bringing a headlamp in case we fish at night, or if the power goes out over night at our accommodation!
Sunscreen
Sunscreen should be SPF 30 at minimum. We ask that you please choose reef-safe sunscreen.
Reusable Bottle
A large water cooler will be provided on all expeditions, however you will need your own water bottle to fill from it.
Sunglasses
You will almost certainly need to wear sunglasses all day. We highly reccommend you buy polarized.
Sun Shirts
We suggest bringing sun shirts and/or a rash guard. Ideally made from SPF material.
Boots
Although not essential, we highly recommend a pair of boat boats such as Xtratuf.
Hat
We suggest bringing a hat to reduce sun glare and/or facial skin damage.
Gloves
You WILL need a pair of boat gloves with good grip. We recommend Dyneema.
Dive Booties
You will need HARD BOTTOMED booties if you would like to walk to scenic sharkie locations such as Isla’s Spot.
Dive Equipment
If you would like to swim in the ocean we suggest bringing a mask, snorkel, fins, gloves and a wetsuit.
Used Clothing
We suggest bringing old/used clothing as a lot of what we do is mucky! e.g. cutting bait.
Face Buff
We highly recommend bringing a buff or face covering such as a neck gaiter.
Bug Spray
If bugs bother you we strongly suggest you pack bug spray or baby oil.
Medication
Be sure to bring any special medications, including seasickness tablets and electrolytes for hydration.
