Community Outreach
This donation will treat local Bahamians to an engaging social event where Saving the Blue will host a variety of talks on the sharks and rays of the Bahamas.
Take-away leaflet information, educational objects such as conch or safety tourniquets will be displayed with information on sustainability and best practices.
All food served will be locally sourced with sustainably sourced in-season fish, lobster, fruit and vegetables cooked and served by local community members.
PLEASE NOTE:
** Total attendees will vary, Saving the Blue will invite a minimum of 50 guests **
** Gift donors do not receive anything in exchange for their donation, unless stated above **
** Saving the Blue is a nonprofit, tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donors will be emailed a thank you letter which should be declared during their annual tax filing **
