About this Adoption

This shark is female, measures a total length of ~180cm, and was fitted with a PIT tag; this type of tag does not transmit signals, but is scanned by researchers during a recapture, just like the tags used in pets. We’ll only get further information on this shark if we or other scientists catch it again. In exchange for this adoption donation, you will have the privilege of naming her, you will receive an adoption certificate, and if we recapture your shark, we will excitedly be in touch with an update!
