This shark is male, measures a total length of ~250cm, and was fitted with a PIT tag; this type of tag does not transmit signals, but is scanned by researchers during a recapture, just like the tags used in pets. We’ll only get further information on this shark if we or other scientists catch it again. In exchange for this adoption donation, you will have the privilege of naming him, you will receive an adoption certificate, and if we recapture your shark, we will excitedly be in touch with an update!

General Information

We work with a variety of duskies, however the larger bodied animals seem to be more prominent, exceeding 300cm. If you would like to adopt a curious, bold, and seemingly fearless shark, a dusky could be the one for you!
